Joseph Kim and Shahabaldin Shirazi clashed leading up to the bubble last night. Their table broke, and they happened to get sent in different directions. Both kept building but it was Kim that bagged overall Day 1 cL with 869K vs Shirazi’s 858K
From 109 on 1A and 222 on 1B, 42 players returned for 11:15am Day 2 re-start today. Tables were 8-handed all of Day 1s and for today, so we were just two eliminations away from breaking when we got going.
33rd – 42nd all receive $3,920 for their efforts.
So far, we’ve had a few given the opportunity to punish themselves further and reg for the $1,100 NL ($50K Gtd) one-day event that we’re having at 12:15 today.
Cody Walker, John Petro, Artem Bilous, Isiah Ditoto, and Angel Lopez, Chunyu Yang were the first six sent to the payout line.
Five 8-max tables remain with four seats open.
We will do random breaking order these last five tables. Neither the players nor the staff know which table is next to break.
