We’re back! Eric’s got his camera that is worth twice as much as my car and I’ve got a laptop and some semblance of an internet connection.
Cards went in the air YESTERDAY 11:15am for Day 1A of Live Poker Classic $1,100 Main Event.

$300,000 Guaranteed with $970 from each entrant going to the prizepool. Sights set high and looking for a total of about 310 players to keep me off the MD Beacon Unemployment website.

64 entrants for 1A yesterday, eight bagged including Neal Liptak with over a milly; just over three minutes left in bb8K. Whichever flight runs the shortest is where we’ll restart Sunday for Day 2 11:15am. They’ll play down to six and if anyone wants or needs a break, we have a third day scheduled for Monday 2:15pm.
Registration open through the dinner break on Day 1s, approximately 6:30pm.

“Only” need another 190 players or so to come out of the woodwork betwix now and dinnertime tomorrow night. 57 in today with five and a half more hours of registration.
One might think that having 40,000 chips to start and blinds at 200/400 that no one would have been eliminated yet – but, no, not the case.
Music update: Cake, I will survive. Apropos for poker tournaments.
